Description
Motley County, the birthplace of the famous Matador Cattle Company, is shown in this 1966 map. Upon inspection of the map, Matador Cattle Company and the Texas and Pacific Railroad Company were granted large tracts of land across different parts of the county. Also included on this map is an artistic rendering of a panhandle ranch scene, including a wind mill and water-well, and a small, semi-topographic map of the state of Texas.
